Der RUGGEDCOM M2200 MIL Layer 2 Switch ist ein Managed Ethernet Switch mit einem konsequent modularem Aufbau, der speziell für den zuverlässigen Betrieb in rauen Umgebungen entwickelt wurde. Die bis zu neun verschiedenen Ethernet Ports können individuell mit Kupferkabeln oder Glasfasern bestückt werden und sind in einzelne Module zu jeweils zwei Einheiten gegliedert, um eine maximale Flexibilität des RUGGEDCOM M2200 zu gewährleisten.

Der Managed Ethernet Switch RUGGEDCOM M2200 MIL Layer 2 Switch streng nach den Vorgaben militärischer Standards entwickelt und entspricht den Vorgaben von

Mit einer Umgebungstemperatur von -40° Celsius bis +80° Celsius kann der M2200 MIL Layer 2 Switch in einem sehr weiten Temperaturbereich eingesetzt werden und widersteht problemlos sowohl extremen Spitzen wie auch raschen Schwankungen zwischen Frost und Hitze.

Für einen sicheren und dauerhaften Betrieb 24/7 kann der RUGGEDCOM M2200 MIL Layer 2 Switch außerdem mit einer redundanten Stromversorgung für einen weiten Eingangsbereich von 88 Volt bis 300 Volt DC, 85 Volt bis 265 Volt AC oder populäre Niederspannungen zwischen 10 Volt DC und 72 Volt DC genutzt werden.
